So I only noticed this today coming across a random forum post, but the router/modem does indeed have an option in the settings to enable "Bridge mode", I believe this is the first time we have got this option on an ISP supplied router that wasn't from Virgin/Cable. The weird thing is I'm pretty sure this option does not exist on the BT Smart Hub 2 despite being the same model used. I guess now people finally have a free/cheap modem only solution instead of having to buy either openreach modems which are no longer supported or an expensive Draytek
