Had this from Openreach just now: -

Quote
We’re getting in touch to update you on our Ultrafast Full Fibre build. We’ve reviewed our build plans, and currently we can’t deliver Full Fibre to xxxxxxxx.

There are lots of reasons for why our plans change - from engineering hazards to access permits. We review our build plans regularly as circumstances change. We hope this is just a temporary setback and that we can bring xxxxxxx back into our Full Fibre build plans in the future.

We'll keep you updated and let you know immediately if anything changes.

Disappointed is an understatement - so zero full fibre, despite OR, VM and Netomnia in the town.

Dear dee.jay

We're really sorry it looks like you've recently received one or more emails from us in error saying that you've been removed from our Ultrafast Full Fibre broadband build plans.

We've identified and fixed some issues with our data and systems that caused these emails to be sent out by mistake, and we're pleased to confirm that you're still in our build plans.

We'll continue to stay in touch to update you as our build progresses.

We're sorry for any inconvenience or confusion that this has caused.

So I decided to follow this up by querying again with Openreach when it will be in my street.

July 2025.

Goodbye FTTP for now then.

Virgin Media are building in my area now apparently, but not holding any more hopes for now.

Starlink is where I’m looking next.

Are you actually in the commercial plans? Kinda sucks if you are as it prevents earlier rollout through BDUK.

If you look up my postcode on ORs fibre first page, it claims they are building now…

But not sure where July 2025 comes from. The confusing inconsistent nature of finding out is rather frustrating :)
