I noticed RT - Russia Today tv channel as gone from all platforms.

I tried searching on Youtube and its gone from there too, for UK people anyway. RT Spanish came up in the results but when I clicked the video it said "channel not available in your country".

I'm personally against banning media. People should be free to make up their own minds. I was a big fan of RT back in the day but since this all started they have become delusional with their reporting. But even so, I think people should be able to view it if they want.

UK access to the TV network, formerly called Russia Today, has been affected by a ban imposed by the European Union.

Although the UK is no longer in the EU, the bloc applied sanctions to satellite companies in Luxembourg and France, which provided the RT feed to Sky, Freesat and Freeview.

RT said "the facade of free press in Europe has finally crumbled".

Does she need to make the companies move from France and Luxembourg?

The Mirror was reporting tonight on Facebook that Anonymous had hacked the Kremlin website taking it offline and also some Russian TV feeds which have been playing Ukrainian music.

What would be better is if the showed what Putin was really doing, rather than just playing music - those that only watch state media probably haven't got a clue whats really happening.

Someone completely insane I presume!  Considering the fallout would impact his own country (and potentially the whole world eventually).

Hope Putin own wife or his own children will kill him for our good before his next election due in 2024 in Russia.

Oh well. I can't do anything. Both are worse Tory and Labour - nothing to vote for them as both are bad as each others in 2024 GE

I agree Labour have their issues right now but to suggest they are remotely as bad as the Tories is patently untrue, as the last 10+ years have proven.

Even Tony Blair was better for the country than Teresa May or Boris Johnson.  But I really don't want to get into all that on this forum.
