Testing the Mikrotik LTAP Mini
« on: February 01, 2022, 11:24:42 AM »

The LTAP Mini is a small weatherproof wireless access point with LTE antennas, two SIM card slots, integrated GPS and a miniPCI-E slot:

I purchase mine from Stuff UK, who delivered within a week: https://www.stuff-uk.net/p-3098000.aspx
It can be powered via DC, microUSB or normal POE 802.3af/at.

Using a Mikrotik R11e-LTE on Smarty, my average speedtest with the internal antennas is about 15 down and 10 up connected to Band 1 LTE.

Interesting. Does this include all I need apart from SIM to connect to 4G and ethernet? Reason I ask is the link says install a LTE modem of choice, so maybe I need something else?

Thanks for clarification, this is very timely as I'm looking for an additional connection to backup my FTTP (that is currently LOS again).

If you go to www.cellmapper.net you can check your local coverage for mobile.
If you go to https://bidb.uk/ you can check your 5g coverage to your property according to the network

Have you been able to find a compatible modem that supports Band 32 and CA?
