Royal Mail Stamps - all change in 2023
« on: April 02, 2022, 09:30:01 PM »

I'm posting this here given the historic links between the Royal Mail and the telecoms industry.

Royal Mail are changing the design of their stamps and most of current stamps will not be valid after 31 January 2023.

Details of the changes and instructions on how you can swap your current stamps for the new designs are at https://www.royalmail.com/sending/barcoded-stamps

Indeed, historically when they change stamps it doesn't invalidate existing ones.  I imagine this is going to trip up a lot of people who rarely use them, particularly the elderly.

There will be a public awareness campaign.
