I got five more months left on my remaining contract with my ISP for G.fast service. I might go to BT Home Essentials FTTC 40/10 for £15 a month because I am on UC LCWRA ongoing indefinitely until my pension age.

When I finally go back to FTTC 40/10 next May 2022 then I will erased my mind (no more G.fast) ;) because the faster speed are no longer needed for me. Netflix, NowTV, YouTube, Email, Surf the internet will be fine for FTTC 40/10.

Updated. I have switched off router and unplugged dsl cable from the master socket. Switched on the router and flashed latest firmware upgraded (I ticked the box default all settings) and pinned the back hole of the router to resetted everything and set up WAN ISP details and wifi settings. After 45 minutes done that. I turned off the router and plugged the dsl cable into the master socket and switched on router. Everything look much better now then my first one few days ago.

New latest firmware:

Glad to hear, I think it was just some a weird rogue sync issue that somehow glitched vectoring.

Its certainly interesting if that is how much difference vectoring makes, although I'm not convinced on that as your SNRm was also weirdly high on that original sync.  Its mostly the attenuation that reflected the lack of vectoring I think.

Is that £15 including line rental?

Seem very large chunk of 13 Meg taken off the sync rate eg:

240.1 throughput speed 227.2
41.2 throughput speed 40.4

OK no problem at all. I only thinking if latest new firmware has fixed security patches

There should be release notes (as a PDF file) to accompany the firmware image.

There is, they are quite extensive and list everything they broke in the betas trying to get this stable release out.

That's less than 6% and sounds perfectly ok. You really do need to stop continuously testing this Max.
