Very strange as plugged into test socket with microfilter seem worse. Low speed but very good line attenuation @ 37.0dB

Put the MK4 frontplate back on and got better higher speed but line attenuation @ 37.8dB

Stop messing with it. Leave it alone. Engineer comes tomorrow.

The changes you describe with and without faceplate are fine.

That stats site needs to change or go. 15 second samples of stats hardly anyone actually understands is absurd.

My live stats here (updated every 15 seconds)

I think you should do as you have been advised by the patient members here stop checking your stats and giving yourself grief every time your speed  temporarily drops for a few hours, i only check mine when i think its acting up which is very rare if i got the speeds you are getting at the lowest  i doubt i would ever have reason to check.

Has the drop in speed effected your use no so why bother just get on with your life and stop checking your speed.

I will ask the engineer to replaced new master socket and new copper cable from the bin cupboard to the socket to be replaced with high quality copper cable as hopefully will stop snr up and down. As for Xmas tree lights I did check the dsl stats for any errors doesn't affect from Xmas tree light.

I am not surprised as BTw Checker has changed from 330/50 to 230/34 for G.fast. Why???? Next door is 330/50  >:(

Have you nothing better to do?

You have an engineer booked go and do something productive stop worrying about something that is out of your control, i bet your neighbour hides every time he sees you.

I even ask next door politely if I can use my G.fast router to their house and test it and check dslstats on my laptop. They say no.  :(
