fttc migration, no interleaving?
« on: December 15, 2021, 01:14:45 PM »

i had my fttc migrated to entanet last night, was expecting to be hit with a couple of days interleaving but it has stayed off the whole time. Previously i am quite sure it was applied for 48 hours ish before coming back off. Not that it matters but has anything changed?

If you migrate and it's like for like service  speed and same backhaul  provider  such as BT wholesale , then no loss of sync will take place only  the routing  at a different layer that you cannot see  unless they use a different stability profile

Yes it has changed.

G.INP remains active after all ISP migrations and after DLM resets (Huawei cabinets).

On ECI cabinets it may be a similar story in that fastpath remains active.

As tommy45 mentions under certain migrations the line was never reset.

I can confirm that a DLM reset did retain fastpath on my ECI line.

thanks for taking the time to reply.

it has stayed on fastpath, also noticed my upstream ES count did not reset so presume no reset happened and not had a single ES on downstreams in 36 hours since migration
