Hi Everybody Im new here so if this Posting is in the wrong area please advise.
I have a Wireless SPEEDTOUCH 580 which was working fine till I tried a Software upgrade from there site which seemed to go o/k till i tried to re-install my config from the backup i made ,then everything went wrong.
I then could not connect also i can't access the router settings anymore. ( 10.0.0.138 ).
I have also tried the Default re-set at the rear but still nothing ( Held button for a Min )
Tried Speedtouch support by Email but no responce .
Is there anybody who can advise me what to do .I'm using a loan Netgear at presant

Hi and welcome.

If you've reset the ST 580 to its factory settings you should be able to access it on http://192.168.1.254

Thanks for the responce I will give that ago .
I will have to re-install the speedtouch again not sure if this will have a Neg affect on the netgear I'm using don't want to loose connection again .

As eric says the default IP address should be 192.168.1.254

Something else to lookout for is some ST firmware has a problem with viewing in IE and it may look like you are locked out.  Try using another browser such as Firefox just to eliminate that its not IE.

Hi I have now Tried both sugestions but still no access to Internet or the Settings ( 192.168.1.254 ) also tried another re-set but no luck.
Lights at the front Show Power  + DSL + Ethernet but no Internet light It seems as though its locked me out does anybody know if there is a Master software type of thing to take it back to original.

I don't know if it's any help, but you can get the firmware v4.3.2.6 here.
