Plusnet Hub Two Router
« on: October 20, 2021, 06:02:19 PM »

Look like Plusnet are now release new Plusnet Hub Two (BT Smart Hub 2 rebranded) but thinking it could release soon for Full Fibre for those PN Hub 2 (don't think it won't be free upgraded from Plusnet Hub One for FTTC customers)

As you say it's a rebranded BT Smart Hub 2 and also has the same annoying inability to split the 2.4GHz and 5GHz SSIDs.

Of course, why complicate stuff for Yorkshire folk?

The modem is capable of G.Fast, though seeing as Plusnet will never offer this, maybe BT ordered too many Printed Circuit Boards?

Considering the rumours of a Hub 3 with WiFi 6 for months now, they are probably just offloading old stock.

Plusnet will never release g.faat product as they not interesting on it. Knowing g.fast isn't a great success for everyone's in UK because of the Cabinet have to be within 250m or less. Plusnet are probably will release full fibre if it does release this autumn or winter. I bet they will release it next year spring 2022.

You know that isn't true at all.
There are plenty with G.Fast at longer distances than that.
