Hi I've swapped my old Billion 7800n out for the VMG8924-B10A , it connected ok slightly lower sync but interleaving was way better . It's been running a couple of hours but DSL stats only runs for 10 minutes or so then " unable to login to router " plus wifi connected then after 10-15 minutes nothing will connect to it  . Any tips or pointers ? cheers

Can you still connect to the GUI to see what's going on as it sounds like something has locked-up?

Yes can get to it from the PC , think I'll do a reset and try it again later

Is the WiFi acting like this only when DSL stats fails to login? I believe you are using DSL stats on LAN connected device

Not sure everything logged in ok then after a while it decided the passwords were wrong ? but I could log in as admin and reset the passwords but no joy  . I'll try again in a couple of weeks ( off on south for a couple of weeks )

Hi back home and booted up the VMG8924-B10A again but the wifi ran fine for about 30 minutes then disconnected ? saying incorrect password any clues ?

Is this just for the DSL stats connection or all wi-fi connections?

Can you manually telnet into the router using the credentials that DSL stats has as I'm wondering if the router is blocking the DSL stats connection for some reason.

Hi DSL stats is running ok from the PC with ethernet connection and the 5g wifi appears to be connecting but the 2.4 is showing but has decided the password is wrong ( which I've triple checked )

Sorry I'm getting confused here. Are you saying that the 2.4GHz wi-fi will work ok for all devices for a little while and then refuse any devices as it says the password is wrong?
Try giving the DSL stats connection a fixed IP address to see if that makes any difference (I'm wondering if it's using up all of the wi-fi connections).

Yes thats what I'm saying , but DSL stats isn't using the wifi . The 5GHz is staying connected but it's not much use in my house ( old stone built )
