Need help with TP Link router

For connection mode should I have it on on demand or auto. Im just trying to tweak my tp link router for the best experince on my sky FTTC connection. Any tips I could use to make it even better please tell me.

I play multiplayer games alot so any settings I should adjust to get the best performance.

note i do play on ethernet cable.

Out of those three available options, "Auto" should be your choice.

thank you. Now, I noticed the router selected Annex a/l by default

I know i probably only need to use Annex A, but what does Annex L do? and can it cause any problems on my internet?

Annex L will not cause any problems with your VDSL2 based service. It only becomes operational when the TP-Link device is connected to an ADSL2(+) line so configured to provide a "Reach Extended ADSL" service. Basically it is what the device could do and, in your case, it is irrelevant.
