Toms Hardware (though this is the Platinum not the standard Gold):
Expensive
The protection features are not configured correctly
Not so high overall performance
One of the EPS cables has two of these connectors
High Vampire Power
Lower than 70% efficiency with 2% load
Mediocre soldering quality
You'd expect much better from a Platinum rated PSU, especially the 2% load and high vampire power.
Strangely looking at other reviews, the Gold seems to review better than the Platinum, but its hard to quantify as not all reviewers measure the actual performance.

High Quality
be quiet! | Dark Power 12 [non-Pro] - Straight Power 11 Gold =>750W / Platinum <=750W
Lower Quality
be quiet! | Dark Power 12 [non-Pro] - Straight Power 11 Gold <=650W / Platinum =>850W
Although they're still both considered Tier A so not bad.
