Brave browser
« on: July 25, 2021, 01:42:45 PM »

Computeractive magazine have recommended Brave as an alternative browser, so I'm trying it for a while and so far I like what I see, so can I now remove Edge or Chrome safely?
Regards.

Personally I don't see any point in removing them.   You could clear out your cache and history, but I always like to have a few alternative browsers and once cleaned up they take up comparatively little space on a modern PC.

I have tried Brave but have no continued using it. Apparently it may have some unsafe practices in Brave Rewards although I don't know much about what people are saying about this. I tried it because it has an Android version but that did not meet my requirements so gave up on both PC and Android versions.

Thanks gents, those replies are helpful to an old duffer like me.

So far I am quite happy with Brave and find it neat and smart appearance, I don't bother with rewards thing, but the browser suits my needs.

Again, thank you.
