Nvidia to stop supporting windows 7
(1/1)
SE:
So my lad told me nvidia is stopping updating its video card drivers for windows 7
Alex Atkin UK:
Not too surprising, with DirectX 12 Ultimate on its way were well past the point where they can backport all functionality.
NVIDIA are one the companies who support their hardware for the longest in my experience.

As Windows 7 stopped being supported by Microsoft nearly 18 months ago I'm surprised that they carried on this long to be honest.
:)

Windows Embedded Standard 7 probably had something to do with that, it's eol was October 2020: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-embedded-standard-7

I'm finding I f8 into 10 more than 7, but 7 is at the front end, so much better than 10
Shame they didn't do as so many asked and put in a 7 lookalike option
Thank god for start10 menu and 8 gadget tools pack and free small search tools to make it better
Didn't like the way nvidia pushed 3d screens and kits costing £££s then removed it from their drivers
The fish tank like depth was good in games
