I just seen Openreach engineers around this area today as they told me it first area to start full fibre roll out for the Cuckoo Oak Exchange from Wellington Exchange for full fibre. I ask them what about my area other side, he say pretty soon maybe next year.

Why is Openreach haven't put on the list for Cuckoo Oak in full fibre roll out plan?

I check this fibre checker https://www.openreach.com/fibre-broadband# and it been confirmed for this area TF7 5GH, TF7 5QP & TF7 5GA for this cabinet 13, 12 & 11 for now.

I think it depends on the scheme its part of.

Fibre First is a specific scheme, rural I believe is another and general roll out something else.

I already mentioned recently how it seems updating the checkers is a very low priority.  I AM in Fibre First and since they had to delay my exchange roll out, the checker no longer says I am though the map does.

Please don't fixate on streetworks. They are done for many reasons other than FTTP. When people are installing equipment in pits or on poles then a good time to start paying attention.

Once you do get it you'll be able to say goodbye to ADSL Stats, which will be good on many levels.

Trust me I always wanted to have FTTP maybe with plusnet on FTTP 160/30 and no more worry about DLM or check stats or speed test anymore because FTTP are best without worry about how far away distance. Can't wait for the full fibre soon.

CarIT

There is no poles around these three area's for FTTP roll out as it seem very easy job for openreach because many area including my area all fibre are under public footpath , no road need to be digging up

Look forward to have G.fast 160/30 next Wednesday (until FTTP come along and switch over to FTTP 160/30)
