If its even worth it depends on if you can get line of sight to the mast.
You'd likely get much better results just upgrading to a higher model router. My speed doubled when I upgraded to the Hauwei B535-232 due to carrier aggregation support.
Granted I was on the tiny pocket router before that, but even with a strong signal that was limited due to the technology being older.
