External Cabling & Protecting it
« on: April 01, 2021, 01:15:13 PM »

Hi All,
I need to run external Cat5/6 cables (no option to run internally) , I dont want ugly black conduit with its associated clips but not sure what would be best - has anybody got any suggestions ?

Essentially will be from router to garage , House is brick lower half and plastic cladding upper half with step between so hoping to tuck something in the stepped part.

If it's not liable to be physically damaged then just run external grade cable, no need to put it in trunking. I had internal grade cable outside for year's and it was fine.
