FTTC migrations - what time?

Is there a typical time of day for FTTC migrations to occur?

I'm due to move ISP tomorrow, but have to go out at around 9:30 for a few hours. If it hasn't happened before I leave and I connect the Fritz box before I go out I'll obviously loose the connection to my current ISP, will it keep trying to set itself up?

I know they tell you not to connect the router until its live but there should be no reason not to.  It should just blink into action, although its most likely to happen between midnight and 3am IMO.

It happened before 00:30.

I thought when I last changed ISP (over four years ago) it was mid morning.
