I've just taken another quick look, moments ago. As you say, everything seems back to normal (for your circuit). If it stays that way then, yes, let Zen know and cancel the Openreach appointment.

Of the two plots that I always examine first, the Hlog is good for the line make-up & length whilst the QLN plot, DS2 band, still shows significant cross-talk.

@bcat. Yes I agree occasionally I get some DS2 but rarely. My sync expectations are based on no DsD2, when I do  a few mbps sync seen.

Will await until Sunday and proceed accordingly

Fault returned, high errors US low SNRM (0.5). Fortunately the OR appointment is still booked for tomorrow PM.  :( :( >:(

Now have noisy line so that’s more hopeful for a resolution   Can’t upload stats as no upload at all at this time.

Better it happen now than the second after you cancel the engineer though.

Can you get a recording of the noise, as evidence that the fault exists?

When OR arrived noise had gone, and NFF. Engnieer performed DLM reset so line is now back to ‘normal” performance. He said it’s training for for 14 days, but I don’t think that’s correct. So to expect drops ?

I suspect it won’t be long before they are back. Fitted new master socket as per his requirements.

I’ve put stats up, only interest is to see performance before visit as line now as normal  :-\

Line failed again today, so await second OR visit :(. Also noted power is reduced!

Brilliant engineer today. His first words “I don’t give up on intermittent faults”. After identifying one poor joint in the UG DP, another found further towards cabinet. Not being convinced that was it, he elected for a new pair. Line seems stable and US better than ever. My HLOG looks slightly different now but I’m happy that a resolution might be found.

There looks to be a significant change in the circuit as a result of the recent remedial action.  :)

I am, however, somewhat surprised with the extent of the "flying gulls" (the effect of cross-talk) still seen in the DS2 band.  :o

I guess that was always so @bcat, but as I'm enjoying 40% increase in US, and DS the same, I shouldn't complain !
