Anyone know if Zen does the basic 150 Mbps FTTP package, if so how much does it cost?
Only been with Zen since mid December, FTTC, one year contract.

Totally against expectation my area has now been fully UG fibred, the PON (if that's the correct term) outside my residence was terminated today so order availability may not be far off.
Can't see any FTTP pricing structure for the basic package on Zen's web site, could ask of course but just wondered if anyone was already using Zen for this service?

It annoys me no end how most ISPs, including Zen, do not show their price list until you give your address and then ONLY the products available to you right now show up.

Do they not realise people might be looking BEFORE their local PON goes live?

I managed to find a postcode in Leeds to check though:

. . . the PON (if that's the correct term) outside my residence was terminated today . . .

I suspect that is a Connectorised  Block Terminal (CBT), one item of the Passive Optical Network (PON). (A PON is just the total infrastructure, end to end.)

@Alex Atkin UK:
Many thanks for the comprehensive guide to Zen's FTTP pricing structure, much appreciated.
Quite competitive pricing but would have to factor in the cost of retaining land line provision.
Although the fibre CBT is in the footway chamber directly outside my front garden wall the land line DP is actually in the next footway chamber outside my neighbours house where my POTS/BB UG cable exits, it's armoured and direct burial, no ducting.
A quite typical UG POTS installation of that era in my area I believe, circa 35 to 40 years ago.
Gaining fibre access to my premisis is going to be messy but will have to be accomplished at some stage.

@b*cat:
Many thanks for the fibre hardware/infrastructure terminology information, may be old but still learning!
