Hmm . . . I am having a mental block. I think the channel characteristics function, H, is only determined when the xTU-C and xTU-R, at either end of the circuit, train-up. Hence an examination of plots of the logarithmic presentation of the channel characteristics function, Hlog, at different times all post the same one discrete circuit train-up will be identical.

Indeed, as you explained here.

Thanks for that 4candles - it explain why my two QLN graphs are the same as they are from the same sync event.
If it resyncs I'll try to remember to grab new ones.

Indeed, as you explained here.

Ah, thank you. As I typed that six and a half years ago, I have now had 78 months to forget the basic fundamentals . . .  :-[  :D

In my book 50% retention after 78 months is damn good. I can forget stuff as fast as I'm told it!

DLM has moved me back to 3dB again. I seem to be in an approx fortnightly ping-pong between 4dB and 3dB. At 4dB start the SNR dips don't cause any significant ES, whereas at 3dB I get loads of them.
Why can't DLM just make up its mind?  :comp:
