not had another 9 second delay, but now consistently over 1 second to respond to clicks.

I still see slow response and just occasionally it fails to find the site which looks like a DNS issue but that now happens rarely and is strange because it has happened when changing pages not on first access! It took around 10 seconds to open this page to enter this update.

Anyway as has already been said the site is actually available and that's the most important thing because it is so useful folks will live with this while it gets resolved. Sounds like your host needs a kick somewhere it hurts  ;)

Just to say that trying to get on the site just now it took 3 tried before it connected, the first two gave the usual message from the browser about not being able to find the site!
