Bt broadband and online gaming
« on: November 09, 2020, 08:33:06 PM »

Hi I'm with bt and would like to discuss what could be wrong with my broadband, as bt have constantly said there 8s nothing wrong 2ith the connection when there clearly is.

I play online games every day and literally can't play anything PvP as it always feels like I am always 2-3 seconds behind every one else so no matter what I do I just constantly die

If needed I can post a list of every thing I have tried to fox this issue and post my line stats I'm at my wits end now and feel cheated out of my money at this point

What is your ping time ? See http://speedtest.net

How do you know that it’s your internet connection at fault ? Do you have a really powerful graphics card and fast PC ?

Are you using WiFi or an ethernet cable?

Does your game provide ping / latency stats? (may be more informative than from a speed test site, as it will be measured to the actual game servers - for instance, my ping is about 22ms, but I often see pings of 40 - 50ms in-game when I get matched on an EU rather than UK server)
