Not surprising, does anyone choose VM if they have a comparably fast alternative?
There's a reason VM are salty at the FTTP rollout.

Yes I saw that, can't believe all those people paying to watch TV when I get mine for free (freesat).

Last contract renewal I had to jump through all sorts of hoops to get a decent discount, even giving 30 days notice. Saying that this year they have not increased prices, and my discount is good for 18 months from my last renewal, by then hopefully FTTP will be live.

That is what happens when the company is paying people to stick with them instead of creating natural incentives to be loyal.  It is too easy to haggle a retention deal with them.
