Peter:

M logitech EX 110 cordless keyboard keeps missing leters as I type, (good example there) is it tme I renewed or is there a cure, I replaced batteries.

displaced:
If it’s always the same key(s), I’d suspect something mechanical in the keyboard - give it a good clean!

If it’s random keys, I reckon it’s signal-related.  Try moving very close to the receiver and see if it misses keystrokes.  Try re-pairing the keyboard with its receiver (either Bluetooth or Logitech’s proprietary method).

Weaver:
Can you pull the key tops off? If so, clean it with a cloth and then blast the whole thing with a can of compressed air (from photography shops, or maybe amazon or ebay etc). Finally could a tiny squirt into the the nooks and crannies with contact cleaner / ‘electrolube’-type / switch cleaner. Then the fun of putting all of the key tops back on the wrong way round. That should keep you busy for ages. ??? Only ever had to do this once, with very strange results.

vic0239:
Is the receiver plugged into a USB hub? I had a similar issue with that scenario when a USB drive was also sharing the hub. Just a thought.

Peter:
This apparent fault has only appeared over the last  few days, the keyboard has served me very well for longer than I an remember, Thanks for the tips guys, I think I'll treat myself to a new one. Got to kep the wheels of commerce turning.
Thanks again.
