Phew... hot last night wot!... Seems we are in for another nice HOT day today too, all this at once is too much  where's the rain....hehe

Mornin Chrissie/all, Wot sun  Looking at the weather map the only bit of cloud is............Calming down a bit today after my stressful afternoon yesterday sorting Firefox out. . Hoping the sun will break through later,we will get the barbie out and maybe have a slurp.

I thought you might be ready for a bit of sun so packed it in the car when we came back from Spain, now that was hot.  Spent most of the time hiding away from it, but the nights were lovely.

Washing and ironing nearly all done so time for some retail therapy today

Hot and sunny, which I like unless it's a case of crawling about in an attic.

I think my throat's getting better, havn't completely lost my voice for a day now although it's still allover the place,
 rather like my !&*%4$ work laptop. Tried logging on at 7:14 this morling. it finaly managed to log on at 9:12  . It's not so much the laptop, it's the updates we get on a regular basis. My manager is chasing me to get in touch with laptop support to sort it, I get the same 2 repair patches. Fine they repair the problem... eventualy just can any one do anything about the updates that cause the &%*% problem in the 1st place  And what ever it does I keep losing all bar one of lan,wlan,pstn or gsm connections. which one, it's a lucky dip each time

It's seems to be working now

Ezzer,  for the throat,  slowly chew a clove of garlic  ( or two)   (that's a clove not a bulb !!) it will clear it  .........  and keep people away from you, so you won't catch any more germs       PS.  It works well  on cuts and scratches as well  ......  I use it as a medication as well as in cooking .... 8)

Overcast but pleasantly warm, with just a light breeze, ideal for getting out there and hacking it all back, which I have.
Have spent the last hour dismantling an old Russian radio that must have been 20-25 years old, my father originally bought it through one of the Daily Express readers offers. It was a good radio and had a decent sound for only one speaker, but had started to become crackly (bit like me) . In bits now ready to be spread out in the rubbish bags (naughty I know, but I don't have a car to take things to the tip).

Any suggestions what to do with an old crt monitor, built like a russian tank in fact probably woukd stop a russian tank in its tracks. I got it upstairs ten years ago but I don't think I can get it down again, well not without one of us ending up in a heap at the bottom of the stairs.
