:( None in Telford. But I wish Openreach put post code instead of the named area. Cos if it say Bedford - it doesn't mean Bedford will get 100% coverage of full fibre.

Seriously ??

Google 'Bedford postcodes' and see how many appear .... now apply that to the 67 areas announced earlier.

Do they do all the postcodes in a city thats announced anyway?

I mean Castleford is on the list and it has a Wakefield area postcode WF10.

I think even if Wakefield is announced ever I’m still screwed as I’m in WF7, so I assume I need Pontefract to be announced for me to ever have a chance.

Also just saw South Emsall made the Market 3 list which means fibre will be basically next door. Surrounded by VM too  :'(

If only Hemsworth wasn’t terrible.  :'(

Good to see my county (Midlothian) on that list.
I can see a couple towns have already been added to the OpenReach site.

Good question and not one I can answer as the initial blue-print (Ghost Plan), is performed by our two business partners.

the oddness remains, the entire Leicestershire county is missing from openreach plans. The city and the county.  The city has now ongoing cityfibre expansion work (which oddly needs 5 years to complete), but the county nothing, the county is quite wealthy as well so I am curious what is going on there.

Maybe Openreach pick as a lottery out of the hat draw! If Leicestershire are not in the list, tough luck! Same goes for Telford. Very strange as Openreach pick Walsall instead of Wolverhampton. Some very strange list there.

It seems like a pick and mix with the names being listed.

I'm sure there is a reason why its being done this way. Hopefully at some point in the future OR might be able to tell us their criteria.

Though it is frustrating waiting, looking at the map on the thinkbroadband site, there sure is a lot of OR FTTP around the country today than there was even a couple of years ago. Apart from VM none of the rival FTTP companies come close.

Code: [Select]
Purfleet
Thurrock

Interesting Purfleet is a town within Thurrock that is under going part renewal but Thurrock covers a number of other towns including my own it will be interesting to see if FTTP is coming to the bulk or just new builds within the area.
