Review of domain names

Weaver:
Janet has dozens of domain names that we own. I’ve been so ill and so drugged up that I simply can’t remember them all and should ave kept a spreadsheet. Im wondering how to find out who they are registered with and when they expire - but that doesn’t give me a list of the domain names to check on, so I would do better with trying to find all the various registrars concerned and they will be able to give me all the names and renewal dates. Any advice - can hardly think because of pain.

Hi

Sorry your in pain

You have asked this a couple of times and the answer is Whois

This will tell you the registrant and expiry

It will not tell you owner or provide you with all your domains owned

If I remember correctly though, most are with AA and dyn but if you look up your posts, the details I think would show for your domain registrar

Many thanks

John

Weaver:
Thanks john,

should have checked for previous posts, but can’t think straight. best, weaver

Weaver:
whois will give expiry dates tho?

Weaver:
I used to only use UK Servers aka VirtualNames and 123-reg. When UK Servers got eaten up by someone I have never heard of, I felt I needed to move my business away from the new owner, so started shifting names away, but I noticed 123-reg was getting very expensive. Now I’ve ended up with names at Dynadot, AA, 123-reg still and some still with the successor to Virtualnames who I think is now names.co.uk or namesco or some such. I solved the latter problem just by going to virtualnames.co.uk or whatever and I got http-redirected to the new owner’s website, and there my old account info was recognised straight away, with the same username and everything. It’s just like having the bad flu, when you just can’t think at all, if you’ve ever been there?
