Just read the comments by the £1 million a year chairman of Centrica ( British Gas).

That's great, coming from a man who earns more in a week than half the people in the country earn in a year.

£1,000 a year on gas ?? I know I get paid quite nicely but thats probably going to get the bank manager's blood going + there are other bills like BB + Mortgage the mortgage is already getting tight so this isn't helping and now the "Fat-Cat" tells us to wear 2 Jumpers Precisely who does he think he is ??

I know they are all as bad as each other,but its about time people took a stance against one company and switched away from them.Hell would freeze over before I would use BG.

This is what U-Switch say about British Gas:

On 18th January 2008 British Gas announced its first price rise of the year, effective immediately.

They must have been pi55ed up for the first 17 days of the year, or couldn't get staff to type out the new threatening letters before then.

At the current gas prices its likely

Thanks to moneysavingexpert.com I fixed our electricity and gas prices until February 2011 with Scottish Power of all people!

Its probably the only decent financial decision I've made in the last year
