Unstable Line following Thunderstorms
« on: June 17, 2020, 08:04:13 PM »

Our line is usually rock steady, but since yesterday evening's thunderstorms the SNR & Syncc spped have been bouncing about all day.

We normally have ~30-4040 ES both up and down.

So far our bridge mode VMG1312-B10A is showing 220 d/s errors for the last 24 hours and 52 in the last 7 hours.

Should I just sit tight and see it out or is it worth rebooting the modem and/or Orbi router?

SNR, Connection speed and error graphs attached (only monitored since midnight last night)

My line is doing very similar but is losing db for both down and up where as your is losing for upload and gaining for download.  Nowt we can do just leave it the DLM will apply more interleaving or adjust power levels when it seems fit.

My line has had interleaved applied so unfortunately any more than 5 total ES in a day resets the remove interleave counter though or it certainly does for my line in past experience.

My line settled down pretty much at the same time that I posted.  You can just see the first signs on the graphs I posted - from about 19:45 onwards.  Keeping my fingers crossed that it remains that way.

I would do nothing. Your SNRM is still very high even at the minima in the dips - higher than mine ever is at best (3dB d/s target).
