Big low coming
« on: May 21, 2020, 09:06:13 PM »

Winter weather gale coming; just ready to knacker all our new flowers. Will have to try and cover them up or something, to prevent them from getting battered.

been quite bad here.    Reminded me of florida weather.   sunny warm and very windy.

i think ive lost a few plants and numerous pots are all around the garden.  ive got one broken glazed ceramic which is in pieces and theres a fairly large ceramic pot which blew over.  i also noticed a neighbours tree looked to have sustained some damage.  will get my daughter to inspect the damage and clear up the mess.

Gusty wind and some tree damage. Around an hour ago the sky turned dark and torrential rain fell. Within ten minutes it was finished. Now a bright blue sky, some clouds and intermittent gusts of wind.

I've had the same experience this afternoon. Unfortunately I was in the middle of a 60-minute walk when the rain started. It's a long time since anyone has seen me actually running. :'(

It’s hour 36 here, still blowing and raining. Lots of stuff broken in the garden - supports that train plants have snapped in half even though they survived the whole winter!

I have had my head down all day, doing various stuff.  There was a bit of background noise as I had my fume extractor fan running right in front of me, so I was blissfuly unaware that it was getting blowy outside.

When I eventually switched off the fan and raised my gaze to look out of the window, was a bit shocked to see the amount of tree debris thrown across the garden,  and fence panels hanging off. :o
