Likely to see any resync on the DS? Its sat at 6.2dB on SNR for DS (If I am reading correctly). I know 6.2 is very close to 6 so unlikely to see improvement but... thoughts?

From my experience of a Zyxel VMG8924-B10A (essentially an 8324 with 5Ghz WiFi added) it usually syncs at 6.2 or 6.3dB, so what you are seeing is normal behaviour.

Really? Thats strange, I mean I guess its not that big of a deal. Also compared to my Vigor 130 the sync is actually slightly lower, about 3Mb which again I find odd because its the exact opposite to what some other people on here are suggesting. Lol oh well, i'll keep it as I like seeing the line stats. I can't do that with the Vigor 130, even after configuring bridge mode on the thing... Its probably something i'm doing wrong.

Every line is different.
Some see higher syncs with Lantiq chipsets (found in your Draytek) and other lines seem to prefer Broadcom chipsets.

As crosstalk/background noise changes over time which modem gives a higher sync can actually change.

As pointed out above although the target SNRM is meant to be 6dB most modems (certainly every Broadcom chipset) sync at 6.3dB.

Yup, my Zen line prefers Lantiq (ECI cab) and I can even bring down the SNRm to 3dB perfectly stable.

My Plusnet line also preferred Lantiq sync wise (same cab so no surprise there) but fell foul of DLM and got interleaved when I tried to push 3dB SNRm, even though it appeared to be stable at the time.  So I opted it into the G.INP trial and had to switch to Broadcom as Lantiq kept losing sync.

Is that the Home Hub 5A with OpenWRT?

Also when I was with BT, when I was using the Hub 6 at the time I would always sync at 74Mb no matter if I rebooted or replugged. If I attempted to swap it out for anything else I would almost immediately drop to 70Mb, is this because of the chipset used in the hub or would it be because BT can "boost" the speed when using their equipment?

Reason I ask is i'm wondering if I can recreate that again and hit 74Mb again. Baring in mind that Hub 6 (smart hub) used a broadcom chipset I believe.

Yes its the HH5a with OpenWRT (see my forum signature) and my line is banded at 73.9Mbit for some reason, although probably wouldn't be stable with less than 3dB SNRm anyway which I'd need to go any faster, but you never know.  When I was on ADSL2+ my line would hang on down to 1dB, although there was far less crosstalk back then to cause the SNRm to fluctuate once syned.

I don't think anyone really knows for sure why some chipsets sync quicker than others, maybe better compatibility with the DSLAM at the other end and/or specific line conditions that different modems react in different ways to.  It could even be that they report the speed differently and actual throughput would be identical.

If you're not on a Huawei cabinet, then its working as normal.

If you are on a Huawei cabinet, you can expect DLM to lower the SNR
