Thanks. Only reason for asking is, I'm sure my ping time to BBC and Google have gone up a bit, yet to Kitz and Thinkbroadband, it's the same. Was around 10ms-11ms for all of them. Possibly just a routing change.

Honestly I am happy as long as my internet has a fast download speed and the pings are resonable. Anything lower than 20ms is great.

I'm in the North East

Single digit first hop is really good for the north as the latency to get to London tends to push you into double digits.

I've had a few issues, I had to add some exceptions to Block LAN to WLAN Multicast and Broadcast Data as the LAN was losing connectivity to my laptops due to the nanoHD erroneously blocking ARP between the LAN and WLAN.

My nanoHD also made the more horrific noise a couple of days ago, like coil whine on steroids.  No idea wtf that was about, kinda sounded like a capacitor venting (I hope its not, didn't smell anything) so keeping an ear out for that.

Otherwise its performing better than any consumer router I've had.  Authentication is many times quicker as are the speeds, although I'm seeing some inconsistency there which I can't explain.  I'd assume crosstalk, but its not seeing any other networks on the same channel.  Then again I'm using 160Mhz channel width so there is tons of scope for crosstalk there.  On a good day I can do 700Mbit to the LAN, on a bad day 400Mbit.

I had a few minor issues with my UDM, mostly just the automatic settings it turns on my default. Issue with Smart Queues physically limiting the speed to 40Mb on download for some very strange reason. Turning off Smart Queues fixed that immediately.

The UDM has a fan inside which is loud upon first boot but once its booted its quiet, you have to put your ear to it to even hear it.
