I don't think I mentioned, I use Firefox too though on Linux.

Yes, omitted to say I'am running Firefox in Win 10.

As mentioned previously, find it strange that I have to select the "I Have Fibre to the Premesis Broadband" (when I don't) plus phone number option in order to proceed to the further diagnostics test and obtain BRAS IP profile.
The "mouselike.org" method of obtaining BRAS IP profile is still not working for me, can't be sure, but would appear to have coincided with the introduction of the new BTw tester ?

Find the option to save the further diagnostics results to .pdf file handy for archieving purposes.

Edit:
The "mouselike.org" BRAS IP tester now displays:

Fix coming soon. BT changed their systems and I need to spend time working out what has changed.

On checking this morning, would appear that BTw have fixed the anomaly where "I Have Fibre to the Premesis BB" had to be selected for FTTC customers in order to proceed to the further diagnostics option, the more logical "I am a ADSL and FTTC BB customer" option now works (with provision of phone number) as per the old BTw performance tester.

Still think that the narrative "I am a ADSL or FTTC BB customer" would be more logical and less confusing.

"Mr Mouselike" appears to have sorted this, now working again.

Since yesterday the BTw performance tester is showing download speeds to normal expectation but "zero speed" for upload speed test, have tried FF and Pale Moon browsers, both report the same.
TBB speed tests still report to normal expectation.

I have changed my setup yesterday to separate modem router boxes, is this a factor or just coincidence, has anyone else experienced the same results ?

I'am aware that the BTw performance tester is not held in high regard amongst forum patrons but I have always found it to be consistant accepting the known issues with FF browser which now appears to be resolved with the latest program release.

Can someone give this a quick cross check for me please, the new tester is still giving me a "zero" speed UL indication.

Logically it's something to do with my recent change to a separate modem/router setup as worked before but what ?

Same here, no upload speed. It doesn't appear to even attempt to run it. I have separate modem & router also.

@vic0239:

Many thanks for confirming, I do use the facility quite regularly and the first time I noted the lack of UL speed testing and the "zero speed" result was just after switching over to separate modem/router setup on Saturday, must be purely coincidental, good to eliminate any potential issues at this end even though I could not conceive how that would be possible.

BTw have been "tweeking" the new tester since it's recent introduction so dare say they will sort this anomaly out in time.

They seem to be doing a lot of capacity work and fiddling with VLANs, I wonder if they disabled it during this work?

I am using a ZyXEL VMG1312-B10A as a "one box" solution and for me, likewise, the above checker gives a zero US speed result. It does not appear to be trying to run that part of the test.  ::)

Upload test is working again although not very accurate, reports a data speed greater than my current US synch., has always been the case with the new tester.
BTw US speed test - 6.13 Mbps
Current US synch - 5.69 Mbps
