Upstream is banded at 8.5Mb

I dont get it.... For years(!) I had upload speed at 9.99Mb until.... I installed that ASUS router/modem. I have one decent one now and I`m not getting full speed.

Not end of the world but personally I`d like rather have in example 30/30 broadband than 40/10. I do not upload a lot but I do. 


Contacted TalkTalk... waste of time as usual... My line can only do up to 9Mb.. Strange because:

Attainable Net Data Rate:     11.034 Mbps       51.588 Mbps  - on my line...

Time to go for full fibre...

Ok. Problem solved in 10 days  Im going for full fibre. No more worries about G.INP, delays and other stuff and hope no more worries about slow upload speeds...

Hi,

 Final word/s.

 Sold my "Proper" Modem (Zyxel) so had no choice and put back my D-LINK DSL‑3782 (New FTTH will be installed in a week).

 To my surprise G.INP was turned ON after router sync BUT.... not for long as It was re-synced  at night and now is turned OFF(!!!)

 Still do not understand what was/is going on but same time I dont care any more...

Hi,

 Just got FTTP - its not FTTH(did my lesson)

 Installed 3 DAYS before scheduled date - Monday 18.05 (!!!) Yes lucky Friday 

and

 Over 200Mb download and Over 20Mb Upload.... delays 10-15ms and was told should go lower soon...

 
  Virgin Hub 3 set as Bridge and Getting full speed on my R7000 with Xwrt-Vortex....

 Love it! 

Tested with QoS turned on (95% down and up)
