Hey all, Has anyone ever wondered why games and multimedia companies upgrade security on their software when as soon as its released people can crack the software post it around on the internet and hey presto millions have the game while the company doesn't make a penny ??

I Suppose so that those who have purchased their software get proper service and patches?

Umm Kitz take microsoft for example you could download an illicit copy of XP off the net then install it and then if you google "wga patch" it tells you how to bypass Microsofts sercurity checks.  *Point observed tested and taken*   

Basically the internet can be used to crack most programs.

any counter arguments ??  I should think so
