VMG8324 bought new in Mar 2014.  Believe I may have been one of the first to try it in the UK.  Over the next few years I tested various other modems, but nothing worked as well on my line.  It syncs ~1Mb higher than the HG612 and nrly 3 Mbps higher than any of the Lantiq based modems despite me being on an ECI cab.

Despite trying other modems, nothing other than Zyxels with the same chip & filter can compare. Its still in use as modem and wired LAN.  The wifi is fine for a small network, but unfortunately it cant cope with 30+ smart wifi devices and I have to use another router as a wireless AP.
