Waiting to talk again with BT about banding / capping

Hey :)

It's a long story but I'm waiting to got back to BT to discuss DLM capping.

I've had an unlocked HG612 in for about ten days now  I was thinking I would wait 14 days before going back and annoying BT again

Here are my stats.  Things look much better with the 612 than with draytek (on previous modem code).

I just wonder if anybody has any additional insights on my stats.

I will leave in-depth analysis to others . . . but the above is fairly good confirmation that the circuit is currently banded.

Yup but how do I convince BT to request that OpenReach  reset the DLM profile...?

So... it looks to me that the DLM turned on DL G.INP last night and interleaving to 1 on UL

(I notice the UL INP is now 0 from 48.00 I guess this is just an 'artifact'?)

SNRM has dropped a little on the DL and a little more on the UL bit now I'm seeing a few CRC and ES on UL?

U0 SNRM seems more variable...

The line stats go bad at first but have settled.

Banding still in place.

Any comments / deeper insights most welcome.

Retain Reason 1 (RDI Detection) - Remote Defect Indication Detector in concert with G.INP activation....

It was DLM removing upstream G.INP which was on previously in the stats above.

DLM also changed the downstream from Retx High to Retx Low.

Banding still the same.

Oh, I had it in my mind G.INP was only ever downstream with BT/ OpenReach, so I was ignoring it on upstream stats. Clearly a mistake on my part.

Thanks for the Retx info. Are you picking that up from Bearer 0 - INPRein going from 1 to 0?

Any idea what INP 54.00 is?

I think my lacancy may have dropped by about 5ms...

Bearer 0, INPRein 0 is Retx Low
Bearer 0, INPRein 1 is Retx High

Upstream Retx is disabled by default and only enabled if the DLM thinks it's necessary. High upstream ES for example.

The fact DLM removed upstream Retx and also dropped the line from downstream Retx High to Low suggests the line is performing better than it was.
