I RECOMMEND TRYING PCLinuxOS (

I have a set of 6 fixed IP's From my Kcom Business isp.
BT ADSL2 (G992.3) line>HG612 as a Modem, Bridge, WAN Not Bound to LAN1 or 2 >pfSense (Hardware Firewall and routing) > Ethernet LAN, DMZ,WiFI LAN and Spare LAN .

They've been talking about it for years of course. I guess that it works, although I would have thought that the line losses and susceptibility to interference would be much worse than in a twisted-pair telephone cable.

I my be recalling wrong - but wasnt there somewhere in Aus or NZ that did this a couple of years ago.
Then it all went out of the window because of the hideous expense?

Chris that was very shocking .
I seem to remember Power Gen or somebody were going to read there electric meters over the wires but not seen any more about that, probably do to costs.
