Nvidia to stop supporting windows 7

So my lad told me nvidia is stopping updating its video card drivers for windows 7

Not too surprising, with DirectX 12 Ultimate on its way were well past the point where they can backport all functionality.

NVIDIA are one the companies who support their hardware for the longest in my experience.

As Windows 7 stopped being supported by Microsoft nearly 18 months ago I'm surprised that they carried on this long to be honest.

Windows Embedded Standard 7 probably had something to do with that, it's eol was October 2020: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-embedded-standard-7
