I don't think there is any support for that. It's not mentioned in the description of the DGTeam firmware, and that's the most advanced firmware available as far as I know.

In what way is the DGteam firmware more advanced than the Uber one? Those seem to be the two main ones but I have never seen a side-by-side comparison.

Anybody compared these or knows of a link?

Cheers

Development of UberGT stopped about a year ago, and its forum has been emptied of messages. The author did at one time direct people from his site to the DGTeam site, and his code was incorporated in the DGTeam firmware, which he described as much more advanced than UberGT.

The DG team firmware seems very successful. :) If I do swap out this router for another one another thought I had was having a play with flashing it to DG firmware. Can't really do that where we depend on it for our phone too, lol.

Does anyone have any screen shots they can share of the Dg834gt firmware by DG team? I've found a couple but not many. What do the agl settings look like?

Count me in on this one too please  :).

If the DGTeam is so successful, I wonder why their firmware is based on the .09 release (1 year old now) and not on the latest .14 release released 5 months ago.

Cheers

I'm not actually using the DG834GT at present (I've gone back to the Billion 5200G because it forces the target noise margin to 6 dB even though it's set to 15 dB at the exchange because of an earlier line fault). I might be able to hook up the Netgear temporarily without connecting to the telephone line, to get some more shots of its interface.

Thank you, roseway, that would be great.
I should mention I found this forum yonks ago when I first got my DG and used it to telnet into the router. So thanks for having the forum around, it's been useful. :)

Here are some more screenshots of the DGTeam firmware configuration:-

The SPI firewall
AGL settings (Edit - I meant 'ALG' - sorry)
Access mode setup
TCP/IP parameters

Many thanks for the screenies.

1) Is there 'help' for these options (on the right of the web interface) as many are unfamiliar to me?

2) What are AGL settings?

Regards

1. There is some limited help, but it's not very detailed
2. I mistyped 'ALG' as 'AGL' :-[
