ISP or Government Censorship
« on: December 09, 2019, 12:18:59 AM »

Hi,
I have a issue of ISP censorship. Before it was easy just change DNS server and you are ready to go but now looks like ISP and country have upgraded their technology to block websites and stuff. Now even after changing DNS servers unable to surf internet without censorship. When i visit websites i get error like connection reset or unable to locate websites. I have tried google dns and cloudflare dns so far. I will really appreciate help in this regard.

Is it only available in UK? and i am not from UK, I am from Pakistan

But not available, I suspect, in Pakistan, neil's home country.

You ought to find a reputable VPN provider.

I was going to suggest a VPN, but then wondered if access to VPNs might also be blocked.

I'm not sure but I think some VPN providers will allow a short trial before the formal contract period begins?  :-\

My concern would be that if you find a VPN that is working today, there's no telling as to whether it might be blocked in the future. I'd be looking for either monthly contract, or a get out clause if it becomes blocked.

You can easily get a Digital Ocean cheap droplet, or a free (for 1yr) Google Compute instance to set up your own SSH tunnel and push all net traffic through it.
No way that Canadian company can see inside the tunnel.
You could even use it via port 80 if you wanted to really blend in...

And don't forget the easiest solution:

Then the second of underzone's suggestions would be the one for you --
