I am trying to sync calender's on two android phones.  I followed google instructions and added respective gmail addresses under 'share with individuals' in google calendar and then clicked on 'add calendar' link in email on each phone. Phones however are not syncing.

Error message on calendar 'calendar couldn't be added'

Any suggestions?

It might need you to log in to the Google account again to pick up that it has permission to access the new calendar - restarting the phone would do that. Try adding the calendar again after restarting if you haven't already.

I have tried switching phone off and restarting but calendar still is not being added.

I have resolved the problem.

It was a basic mistake, I hadn't added google account on other phone.  Simples, all is well
