to this..
Code: [Select]
Line State: UP [0x0]
Line Mode: G.993.2 (VDSL2)
Line Uptime: 38m 55s
Annex: B
Profile: 17a

Max. Attainable Data Rate (ATTNDR): 23.642 Mb/s / 4.566 Mb/s

Line Attenuation (LATN): 26.1 dB / 32.1 dB
Signal Attenuation (SATN): 22.9 dB / 31.9 dB
Noise Margin (SNR): 5.1 dB / 6.1 dB
Aggregate Transmit Power(ACTATP): 6.9 dB / 11.4 dB
Forward Error Correction Seconds (FECS): 0 / 0
Errored seconds (ES): 0 / 0
Severely Errored Seconds (SES): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal Seconds (LOSS): 0 / 0
Unavailable Seconds (UAS): 54 / 54

My question is, is this a cab upgrade or a software one. if its a software one, does anyone know what the improvements are?

I also wonder if its related to FTTP which is currently underway near me (based on the works reported by one.network), the csw site reckons about May next year.

Cheers

Definitely nothing to do with FTTP.

It's actually the DSLAM line card version/firmware that is reported.

Highly likely an expansion was added to the DSLAM.
Simply larger line cards.
