Decent 12V 5amp laptop power supply/charger?
« on: October 26, 2019, 01:51:36 PM »

Would anyone happen to know of a decent 12V 5amp 5.5/2.5mm laptop power supply/charger. It's for a Qotom mini pc. It came with a Dajing supply which feels cheap and nasty. The only one that I could find that I recognised the name of, was a Channel Well Technology branded one (think they are a OEM for a number of branded ATX power supply's, like Corsair).

With a quick look on the RS Components site I have found two units that may be sufficient for your need. I didn't make a thorough search, so there may well be others.

Here is the comparison page that I created. The individual units are RS Stock numbers 904-8480 and 125-4247.

Other suppliers, e.g. CPC Farnell, may also be worth checking.

Thank you :) The first RS power supply is exactly what I was looking for.
