Interesting phenomenon
« on: July 29, 2008, 06:51:39 PM »

Hello. I've been away for a long time, but today I found the this graph in routerstats. A nice repeated pattern of snr margin changes, bit like a heartbeat, but slower. Netgear DG834GT, synched at 2016, attenuation 59.0dB (arrgghhh!). Any ideas about possible causes?

Just the one day?

Could it be someone working in the area with powertools?
I had something similar when I had workmen in doing up my kitchen, dont know if it was the drill or a circular saw he was using.

looks like noise most of the time, but switches off or works less for about 5 mins. too regular for a fridge/frezzer. heater, in this weather ?

anything electrical can do it, it's a case of matching the times to usage
