in my windows 10 latest version microphone volume level reset after every restart i have to reconfigure it every time. anyone here has a same issue?

volume level resets to 62. Every time i set it at 80-85 but after restart it resets to 62. Is there some issue? I am unable fix it

Only thing I can think to suggest is to try updating the appropriate driver.

it is just for a headphone with builtin microphone i dont remember installing any drivers for it

It will be part of the sound drivers. My daughters head phone socket recently stopped working on her laptop, updating the sound drivers fixed it.

thanks i reinstalled the audio drivers and problem seems to be fixed now i dont know why i never thought of it before

Glad to hear it's now working, don't be surprised if it happens again, my daughter's headphone problem returned after some months so just reinstalled the drivers again.
