Cambridge Analytica BBC Scam
« on: October 18, 2019, 11:21:37 PM »

I saw a link on a BBC Web page entitled ‘could Cambridge Analytica happen again?’  i clicked the link, it said ‘you need to sign in’.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p07rfjj9

The whole reason the CA scam worked in the first place is, people were duped into thinking that ‘singing in’, in that case to Facebook, was a good thing.

Conclusion, even without reading the article.... yes!   if institutions like BBC remain hell-bent on data mining, which is what ‘singing in’ is absolutely always about, then of course it will happen again :D
