What is the modem model?
modem is hg150 ub
Don't think it's a Huawei or doesn't have any Huawei branding on it and looks nothing like any of their devices I've seen.PTCL branding on every HG-150-UB on Google.might be the ISP.Used a lot in Pakistan.http://www.fiberhome.com/en/mobile/product/products/317.aspx
Being Pakistan's largest ADSL2+ provider, PTCL primarily provides its customers with ADSL broadband, however as demand for higher bandwidth connections has increased, PTCL is upgrading its customers to VDSL2 and FTTH GPON in a few major cities, namely Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta and Peshawar.
The 'HG' model number suggests Huawei as the manufacturer and thus might well be a Broadcom chipset.I'd try some of the Broadcom CLI commands (https://wiki.kitz.co.uk/index.php/Broadcom_CLI) to see if it recognises them.
Ah, that timeout message is from the Busybox shell. Please try a cat /proc/cpuinfo command and, hopefully, it will disclose some further information about the device.
The 'System Type' output translates to you having a BCM63381, which is what I would call Broadcom's entry level chip.Still decent though, and much better than a lot of the alternatives.
